ITHAKA 24 - Beds (On Hospitality)

IΘΑΚΑ 24_Stop 3 (24 Beds – 24 Hours)
Port Saint Louis Du Rhone (Marseille)

On Hospitality

24 beds spread in Port Saint Louis Du Rhone, Marseille act as an invitation to the inhabitants. The intervention stresses on the notion of hospitality and suggests an open experience of public space - in a 360 degrees, 24 Hour common place.
Footnote:  During the 24 hours, situations were evolving and the performers were constantly present to suggest alternative but conceptual utilities of the bed as an invitation platform (horizontality, unconciousness, hospitality, mental departure, role of guest/host and traveler, resting, game)
